How the hours are worked out
- The clock runs from when the crew arrives at your first address until the last item is unloaded, plus the fixed 30-minute call-out.
- Driving between your two addresses is part of the job. Tolls are charged at cost.
- Waiting time (for example if the property isn’t ready or a lift isn’t available as booked) is charged at the same rate.
- A bigger crew costs more per hour but finishes sooner, so the total is often about the same, and the day is shorter.
